Marked to today, not last round.

Portfolio monitoring starts with a fair value between rounds: Dorio marks every company to today, not to its last round.

Range, confidence tier, and named drivers on every company. Set your own mark and it overrides the model.

Questions investors ask.

What is Dorio?

Dorio is portfolio monitoring software for investment firms. It gives a current valuation, predictions, risk flags, and a nightly written brief on every company in a venture or private equity portfolio, and it ranks prospects that match a firm's thesis.

Who is Dorio for?

Venture capital firms, private equity firms, family offices, and funds of funds. Partners use it for the portfolio view, finance teams use the marks and fund comparisons, and platform and deal teams use the prospects and the x-ray.

What is a mark in Dorio?

A mark is Dorio's current estimate of a company's fair value between rounds, shown as a point, a range, and a confidence tier, with the named drivers behind it. The model updates it nightly. A firm can set its own mark, and the firm's mark overrides the model everywhere.

What is a raise prediction?

A raise prediction is Dorio's estimate of the chance a company raises within a time window, with the evidence behind it, such as a hiring spike, a new office lease, or round chatter in the news. Dorio also predicts growth, acquisition, IPO, layoffs, and closure. Predictions are directional signals, not guarantees.

What is the brief?

The brief is a short written summary of the whole portfolio, written every night. Every claim links to its source article, and every mention is stored on the company's record.

What is an x-ray?

An x-ray is Dorio's view of any investor's portfolio built from public investment records. A firm can x-ray a co-investor, a competitor, or a fund it is diligencing and see the book, the sectors, and the companies predicted to raise next.

What data does Dorio run on?

Public company and funding records, news, hiring and headcount signals, public market closes for the benchmarks, and the investor updates, notes, and spreadsheets a firm adds. A firm's own data is private to that firm and never trains a shared model.

How does Dorio fit with the tools a firm already uses?

Dorio is not a CRM and not a cap-table system. It sits beside those tools and answers a different question: what each company is worth today, what is likely to happen to it next, and which company outside the portfolio the firm should call. An MCP server exposes the whole book to any AI assistant a firm already uses.
